ABOUT RADOMIL NOVÅK Under Novak’s supervision, CzechInvest has attracted record levels of capital from high-tech companies working in the biotech, pharmaceutical, microelectronic and other industries. Throughout his career Novak has played a central role in shaping key economic and investment policies for the Czech Republic. Novak has managed CzechInvest’s western office since November 2005. Before returning to the U.S. to focus on technology ventures in Silicon Valley and the Southern U.S., he served as deputy CEO of CzechInvest in Prague. From 2000 to 2003, prior to serving as CEO, Novak established CzechInvest’s western U.S. presence. His mission, as it remains today, includes managing and promoting the influx of foreign direct investment into the Czech Republic. Before establishing CzechInvest-West, Novak was responsible for the creation of the Investment Incentives Act of 2000, which created a nationwide system of investment incentives for the Czech Republic. Novak is a frequent speaker and interview subject for a wide variety
of topics ranging from biotechnology, microchip production to intellectual
