The Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity for a multi-vocal conversation that is both casual (in the sense of no formal presentations) and constructive (in the sense of building on the rest of the conference, and toward a better overall understanding of the complexities of nano and bio in society). Usually, a Town Hall Meeting has a public audience. Ours will be limited to conference attendees. Accordingly, in order to ensure an appropriate mix of voices, the co-organizers have invited a variety of participants, including scientists, engineers, journalists, humanists, and civil society representatives.
